Greenwich Library Game Day

Players will participate in strategy based games using painted miniature figures and terrain boards reminiscent of famous conflicts in history. In this fast-paced game, players will take on the role of Roman and Carthaginian in a battle for dominance in the ancient world. The game is modeled after one of the most famoue battles of the 2nd Punic War, Cannae, in 216 BCE. Can the Romans revers history and defeat the great General Hannibal, or will the Carthaginians replicate history and defeat the Romans for a second time? Rules will be taught to attendees.
